Art by the Stream 2011 Festival Committee would like to thank all of our exhibitors, vendors, performers, volunteers and visitors for making our fourth year festival a success. We hope to see all of you June 16-17 at our fifth annual event in 2012!

The 2011 venue change to Depot Park was a huge success with our exhibitors. Located on the north side of downtown Boscobel. The Boscobel Railway Depot, now restored as the Depot Museum and Boscobel Chamber of Commerce offices, the depot served as the departure point for Wisconsin troops during the Civil War. The art festival will encompass the well manicured garden areas west of the Depot Museum. We will be exhibiting in an area approximately 720 by 80 feet. More information will be posted on this website soon. This new venue will provide a centralized location to the downtown area for shopping and eating.

BOSCOBEL DEPOT

The Art by the Stream Committee and Boscobel Chamber of Commerce invite all artists to submit work for exhibition at the fifth annual ART BY THE STREAM Fine Arts and Crafts Exhibition, June 16-17, 2012. This is an outdoor location and will be a "rain or shine" event. Ample parking, toilet facilities, as well as drive up ability for setup. This late spring festival in beautiful Southwest Wisconsin will introduce you to the unique "Driftless Area" of the State. Food and beverage vendors will also be on site.

Application Process: The art festival is juried and open to all artists and craftspeople. The non-refundable jury fee is $10.00 per artist. Jury decisions are final. Upon acceptance, a space rental fee of $50.00 for one artist using a space or $35.00 per artist sharing a space will be required (see rules & regulation page). No kits or commercially made items or imports are allowed. Limited edition signed & numbered prints and open edition prints made from artist's originals will be allowed as long as the artist also exhibits representative original works.

ANY ARTIST WHOSE WORK IS FOUND TO BE INCONSISTENT WITH THEIR SUBMITTED IMAGES WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE THE FESTIVAL.

Application Deadline: APPLICATIONS ARE DUE NO LATER THAN May 30th, 2012.

Artists accepted through the jury process will receive an acceptance letter. This letter will also contain pertinent visitor information. The exhibition fees should NOT be paid until notification of acceptance is received.

Display: Artists are responsible for set-ups that are suitable for outdoors. Tables and chairs will not be provided. Set-up begins at 8:00a.m. and must be completed by 10:00a.m. Exhibit hours are10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Sat. and 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Sun. All artists must check in upon arrival at the registration table before setting up. 10' x 10' spaces will be assigned upon acceptance by jury. ART BY THE STREAM Fine Arts Festival will be held rain or shine so please plan accordingly.

Security: Security will be provided at the exhibition grounds Saturday night. Be advised that if you plan on setting up Friday evening, there will be no contracted security on grounds.
